Mulu Design Workshop (MDW) is an Auckland-based architecture firm. At the core of our practice is the belief that a home should be a sanctuary—carefully crafted to enhance the user experience while reducing its environmental footprint. Each project is an opportunity to create spaces that reflect and support the unique lives of the people who inhabit them.

At MDW, we see architecture as more than the design of buildings—it’s about capturing something greater than the structure itself. We are fascinated by the idea that a building can contain the expansive elements of the world around us: the sky, the earth, the stars, even the universe.
